let your light shine

LET YOUR LIGHT  SO SHINE BEFORE MEN.THAT THEY MAY SEE YOUR GOOD WORKS,  AND GLORIFY YOUR FATHER WHICH IS IN HEAVEN.MATHEW 5:16

 In the scripture above,Jesus set an important principle;He let us know clearly that we should let our light shine,before men.here Jesus means all men.(everybody)that they may see the good works  we do so that our father in heaven will be glorify in heaven.How are u letting your light shine as a christian?The light Jesus was talking about here is about our christian life,character or nature.we have to portray the life of God to the world.The world have to see us live a life that is of God so through us they will come to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and personal savior.

We are mandated to shine anywhere and everywhere;in our families,schools,place of work, Neighbourhood, in our country and outside your country.Joseph, the son of Jacob, is a good example in this regard. He was sold into slavery by his brothers,and was later put into prison,after being wrongly accused .Yet, he shines in the midst of all those difficulty times and eventually rose to become the prime minister in a foreign country.we must all follow the very simple but instructive principles of Jesus Christ on success,one of which is letting your light so shine before men.Through our good lives i strongly believe others too will be affected and turn to God.we must take note that the scripture did not say that men will see our good works and promote or reward us.It says instead that they will glorify God who is in heaven who will in turn promote us.

You must know that our promotions comes from God.Psalm 75:6 .How ever ours is to do what's right and not to please men and before you know it you will be taken to higher dimensions of greatness and prosperity.Amen
